Growing Kindness-Growing a Community

As children we are taught to be kind to others, to show compassion when those around may be struggling, to feel and act with empathy. Much like a seed that is planted in the ground and then nourished with water and love, kindness is planted in each and every one of us, nourished with love and compassion as we grow.

Here at Verona Area High School this nourishment continues. Teachers, students, administration, student services, support staff, janitors, and food staff. Everyone in our community believes in and practices kindness. During times of strife and conflict we must all  remember the importance of kindness.  In all three of the libraries you will find a KINDNESS PLEDGE board where you can add your pledge to those that have shared the role they will play in nourishing kindness in our school community.
